Acer unveiled the new Liquid Jade S, the manufacturer’s first 64-bit smartphone, which is powered by an octa-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6752M processor.
The Liquid Jade S has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) IPS display with 'Zero Air Gap' technology, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection. The chip is a step up from the original Liquid Jade. And users also get access to 2GB of RAM. The Liquid Jade S comes with 16GB of built-in storage, which is expandable with a microSD card.
A 13 megapixel camera graces the rear of the device, while a 5 megapixel camera adorns the front. The Liquid Jade S runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
Acer will launch its Liquid Jade S on December 18th in Taiwan. No word yet on when it will make its way to other markets.
