Adobe Premiere Clip brings free editing to Android

Adobe has a new product out which might appeal to mobile videographers, which is all of us at one time or another.

Adobe Premiere Clip arrived on iOS last year and now that app has come to Android. It's mainly a way to assemble your clips and photos, and it will create a video automatically. If you'd rather have more control over the result, you can load up all your content on your phone and then export it to the desktop version for more careful editing.

Here's a video about the 2.0 version of the app, which is the first version on Android.

Royalty free music is a great idea, letting you actually share these online without fear of copyright violations. It's also pretty neat to see how the software analyses your music and shows you where the beat changes, to help make your edits look even more awesome.

If you want to get the full use out of this software you should also have Adobe Premiere Pro CC, which is where the company will hook you into one of their subscription models for the creative suite.

Get the Android app for Premiere Clip here.
