Amazon Fire TV Stick adds voice control

Amazon’s latest Fire TV Stick will feature the company’s personal assistant Alexa, allowing users to control their television through voice commands, as noted by Wired.

The Fire TV Stick is a HDMI device inserted into the back of TVs, which when connected to WiFi provides users with access to Amazon Prime, Netflix, YouTube, Spotify and other video and audio streaming services.

Users will be able to launch services, select episodes and control playback options through voice commands.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote is available to pre-order now for £39.99.
