Amazon wants to be a one stop shop for all your needs, and now it's delivering lunches.
Prime members will be able to get a text message each morning with a list of potential meals which they can choose from. If they order before 11am, delivery before lunch is guaranteed.
The Amazon Daily Dish features specials from the restaurants that they work with, sent out at cost price with no delivery fees. Of course this is only for Prime members so you're already paying a year subscription to avoid those fees.
The programme is being trialled in the Seattle area right now and you can see a little of the dishes on offer over here. There's a good range of foods and each seems to cost around a tenner.
Other US cities are planned and there's a chance this could eventually reach somewhere like London, but a Dublin rollout is pretty unlikely.
