An Post launches collection of retro gaming stamps

We may have to find reasons to send letters, or at least buy stamps, as An Post today issued a collection of retro gaming stamps.

Namco Bandai’s Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and SEGA and Nintendo’s mascots, Sonic and Mario, adorn the four stamps. The stamps were designed by the Dublin-based graphic design studio Zinc Design Consultants.

The stamps cost €0.68 each, and a sheet of four will set you back €2.72. If you don’t want to send them, it is also possible to pick up a first day cover (FDC) for €3.72 or a sheetlet for €10.88. It’s a difficult decision: do you send as many as letters as possible to share these or do you keep them all to yourself?

At least our Christmas card envelopes are going to look a little snazzier. Now we just have to bulk buy and keep them in a safe place for a few weeks.
