Android's latest
Jelly Bean flavoured upgrade,
Android 4.1 was announced at
Google Io conference in connection mainly with the Nexus 7. Other devices favoured to received the latest android update initially included the Galaxy Nexus, some Galaxy S devices and Motorola Xooms but now HTC have finally boarded the train and have confirmed to Engadget today that the Jelly Bean update for the
One X, One S and One XL.

Smart move for
HTC as the One series are part of their grand comeback plan and are their showcase product. It's not confirmed whether
HTC's other lines including the Evo 4G LTE and Droid Incredible 4G LTE will be getting Jelly Bean. Android updates are known for being a slow process having to battle through carrier approval processes as well as integrating custom skins but in
HTC's case it's the Sense user interface that puts a slight spanner in the works.
