Android 7.1.2 begins roll out

Android 7.1.2, the latest update for the Android operating system, has begun rolling out for owners of Nexus and Pixel devices, as noted by Slash Gear.

While technically a minor update compared to other Android updates, Android 7.1.2 does contain a variety of new features for owners of different devices.

This includes fingerprint sensor gestures for the Nexus 6P and a new Pixel Launcher plus a new apps layout for the Pixel C.

The Android 7.1.2 update also fixes a number of bugs found in the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones.
