The incoming Android L (name expected to change)is allegedly one of the most radical modification to the OS since its inception. According to Sammobile, it implements new design direction and support for 64-bit processing.
It was always a safe bet that Samsung handsets would benefit from Google’s latest OS update, however both the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 may get Android L as early as very late November/ early December. It should be stressed, this is via Sammobile sources and an actual Android L release date has not yet been announced.
But if true, it would be nice to see Samsung pushing for the latest updates sooner, to retain its competitive edge. As consumers, we’re alright with that!
