Android Lollipop runs on HTC One M8 in leaked shots

New screenshots have appeared online, which allegedly showcase the HTC One M8 running Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The images, which come courtesy of YouMobile, give a clear indication of what Google’s latest operating system will look like on HTC devices, assuming they are authentic. The screenshots claim to show the upcoming HTC Sense 7 interface, HTC’s custom user interface, which is expected to be released next month.

HTC appears to be basing the appearance of HTC Sense 7 on Google's design standard for Android 5.0 Lollipop, which called Material Design. This utilises a flat and colourful aesthetic. HTC seems to have tweaked the design for HTC Sense 7 to enable users to change the colour of software keys depending on the app being used.

There are likely to be a number of differences between the base Android 5.0 Lollipop and HTC Sense 7. But as of this moment, we’re yet to see other devices running the new version of the OS.
