OnePlus might not be the biggest smartphone maker out there but the company knows how to focus its efforts on what matters.
That includes pushing for seriously high spec phones which are a good chunk cheaper than competing models. And they're also working hard to keep their software as up to date as possible.
That now includes offering Android Nougat to their users, hopefully by the end of the year. Very few major players have rolled out the latest operating system to their handsets yet, so this puts OnePlus near the top of the pack.
A beta version of Nougat is planned for November, with the OnePlus 3 getting a full release by the end of 2016. There's also word that the older OnePlus 2 would be getting the update.
Good news for OnePlus fans, and they're set to announce a new handset next week too!
