Apple could have three different iPhones next year

Apple released the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus only a few months back but already the rumours for the next generation are in overdrive.

The latest suggests that there might be extra options for buyers in 2017. Those ever-guessing folks at KGI Securities have been making the suggestion that there could be two different versions of the larger 5.5 inch model, currently called the Plus.

The reason for different options is because one model would sport an OLED display. This would be the first time the company uses the technology in a smartphone and could potentially lead to even better image quality.

Why they would make the same phone with a different display technology remains to be seen, and as these rumours should be taken as nothing more than that.
