Apple iWatch could TECHNICALLY be Swiss-made
While the rumoured iWatch was conceived and designed in California, and constructed in China, the device could bear a “Swiss made” label thanks to the hiring of TAG Heuer’s VP of sales.

Patrick Pruniaux has been snapped up by Apple, according to recent reports. The CEO of Tag Heuer, Jean-Claude Biver, told CNBC that a sales director departed the company "to take a contract with Apple." Apple has attempted to lure several other employees from Tag Heuer, but sources say that Pruniaux was the only one to accept an offer.

This move indicates that Apple is ready to go after the high-end smartwatch market. The iWatch will reportedly be released in October. Whether the hiring of Patrick Pruniaux is enough to be able to slap a “Swiss made” label on it is yet to be seen, but Apple has always been on point when it comes to marketing its products.

The iWatch is reported to come in a variety of designs and will feature a variety of sensors designed to monitor the user’s health and key metrics.
