Life after the Apple takeover of Beats is quite similar to before, with added wireless connectivity.
Beats and Apple today confirmed an earlier leak, stating that they are preparing to release a Bluetooth version of the Solo2 headphones. These headphones will have a range of 30 feet from their Bluetooth-paired device, and are capable of skipping songs, answering phone calls, and controlling the volume.
Apparently, the wireless headphones will last for approximately 12 hours. If you run out of battery, an included cable will allow you to keep listening once you’re wired up.
The Beats Solo2 Wireless will launch later this month and will be priced at around $300. They will be available in black, white, and blue. Meanwhile, those who prefer the wired approach will have more colour options available to them. The wired Solo2 are to be released in a range of new colours: Stone Grey, Hunter Green, Imperial Violet, Blush Rose, and Sapphire Blue.
