The Microsoft Studio was shown off for the first time last week in a totally stunning video - complete with a gorgeous version of Pure Imagination.
The new system has great specs and a huge touchscreen, as well as the new Surface Dial which is going to change how creative types work. It really is quite something.
Right now though its more about the video and the folks at The Beat have been diving into how it was made. It all starts with a robotic camera control rig called KIRA, which is capable of some really impressive stuff.
This system was paired with a RED Epic Dragon camera and a Canon 15.5-47 mm lens for the shoot, which involved very precise control to show off just how delicious the new device looks.
To get that motion exactly right, they even used an Xbox One Elite controller, which is about as Microsoft meta as you can get. The way the robot moved could be copied and replicated over and over to get the perfect shot.
The result was a video which everyone was talking about, exactly what Microsoft wanted out of the launch of their new premium lineup.
The Microsoft Studio is set to debut before the end of 2016.
