Brand New Gmail Interface on the Way
Major aesthetic changes on the way...

When Google originally announced that it had launched a brand new email service with virtually limitless storage capacity, people didn't believe it could be true - although it didn't help that the company chose April 1st as the launch date - but since those early days the service has gone on to revolutionize the email industry, and Google will be hoping it can repeat its success again as it launches an all-new design for the web-based side of the email platform in the near future.

Already in internal testing, this newer, more simplified look for Gmail should make the service a lot more accessible for users, regardless of what size screen they're using to browse.

There's no news of when we should expect to have the chance to check out the new design for ourselves, but website Geek postulates that it's likely the overhaul will be officially announced at Gopogle I/O towards the end of next month, with a roll out following in the weeks after the event.
