Samsung’s Galaxy Note Edge device may have given us a glimpse at the company’s future plans. New reports suggest that the company will release an “Edge” version of its next Galaxy S device alongside its flagship model.
That’s according to SamMobile, at least, who say that Samsung has gone back to the drawing board. “Project Zero” is the company’s plan to start from scratch and create something that will resonate with customers in the way that the S3 and S4 did.
The next Galaxy flagship is expected to be called the Galaxy S6, so it doesn’t seem like Samsung is going to completely ignore what has gone before. Meanwhile, the curved variant is likely to be dubbed the Galaxy S6 Edge.
There isn’t much to this particular rumour at the moment, but it seems likely that Samsung will expand its range of devices with curved screens.
The Samsung Galaxy NoteEdge will arrive in Ireland in the near future. It will be available from select Carphone Warehouse stores and Vodafone outlets from December 4th until the end of the year. Just 500 will be available, so if you want to get your hands on one, you’ll need to act quickly.
