Facebook Founder Summoned To Court
Privacy Concerns trigger summons of Mark Zuckerberg to Iranian Court

We’re calling it early – He’ll decline this one.

Not that it’s not the most alluring of prospects - heading to court, in Iran, because your dubious- by-definition social network dances a bit too close to the nebulously defined stage of online privacy for a foreign court to stomach… but I still think he’ll pass.

The Iranian Court has, however, summoned the Facebook CEO to attend a hearing and respond to complaints, specifically ones regarding FB properties WhatsApp and Instagram. Both services could end up being blocked in Tehran (Iran’s capital… it’s okay, I looked it up too!) In any case, details are vague as information of the summons stems from an official via the Basij Militia, but we’ll keep you posted as we get them…
