Facebook to trial 'dislike' button in Messenger

Facebook is reportedly introducing a ‘dislike’ button to its Messenger service as it trials a new set of reactions that can be used when replying to an individual message.

The new set of reactions was first noticed by Facebook user Hoan Do who sent Tech Crunch a screenshot of said reactions.

The reactions contain a heart eyes emoji, a laughing face, a shocked face, a crying face, an angry face plus a thumbs-up and a thumbs-down.

The trial is currently available to a limited number of Messenger users but it is unknown whether it will be rolled out for more users to try.
