Facebook's Slingshot now available worldwide
Facebook’s own Snapchat competitor Slingshot is now available worldwide after a brief period of exclusivity in the States.

Slingshot can now be downloaded for iOS and Android, allowing users to send images and videos to friends or groups of friends. These messages then disappear after being viewed. However, unlike Snapchat, users must unlock messages first by offering something in return. The idea of replying before you’ve accessed a message is an unusual proposition, so we’ll have to see how it does.

The app is available on iPhones running iOS7 or on Android Jelly Bean and KitKat. It can be downloaded from the App Store or from the Google Play Store for free. Take a look at the video below for another explanation as to how it works.
