Fender releases guitar tuner app for Android

The legendary guitar maker Fender has released its Fender Tune app for Android devices, as noted in an article by Engadget.

The app offers an automatic and manual option for tuning acoustic, electric and bass guitars, and comes with a number of other features such as tone tips, a strumming guide and directions for setting up an amp.

Fender Tune was originally released for iOS back in August, and since then the company has revealed its intentions to develop other apps for music players including one that emulates the signature tone of some of the world’s most famous guitarists.

Future apps will be able to sync wirelessly with Fender amps through use of Bluetooth.
