The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are out today in several regions, including the US and UK but thanks to the international time zones it was actually Australia which was the first county in the world to open the Apple floodgates.
Thousands of Apple fans have been queuing for days outside retail outlets, with many coming from other countries to camp out in order to be one of the first people in the world to handle the marvellous new device.
For one young man in Perth, Australia, the excitement was all too much.

That has to hurt. Hopefully the phone was fine, it mostly looked like the packaging took the fall, but be warned - the iPhone 6 can easily pop out of its attractively minimalist packaging!
The Apple iPhone 6 is available for pre-order now in Ireland, arriving on shelves September 26th 2014.
