The waterproof Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has leaked…but in the best possible way. These are the allegedly the first pictures of the upcoming device.
The back of the Galaxy S6 Active looks more rugged than its predecessors', such as the S5 Active pictured. From the looks of it, waterproofing is guaranteed. The S6 speaker is also moved to the back from the front.
Those who like to explore the wilderness and need a phone that lasts will also be glad to hear that the Galaxy S6 Active packs quite the battery. According to GSM Arena, the S6 Active will feature a 3,500mAh battery.
The tougher Galaxy S6 variant is also reported to include a microSD card slot, something sorely missing from the premium S6.
Samsung is clearly targeting those with a more active lifestyle with the Galaxy S6 Active. It should be able to take a knock or two, it’s waterproof, and it should last for a while without charge.
The Galaxy S6 Active is yet to be announced. But now that it’s out in the wild, so to speak, expect to see a few more leaks before it’s officially unveiled.
