First Tizen Phone to Launch This Summer?
New mobile OS to get its flagship no later than July...

It finally looks as though we're going to be able to get our hands on a flagship Samsung Tizen device in the very near future, with Samsung's Vice President of Product Strategy Yoon Han-kiltelling Reuters that the launch should happen before the end of July this year.

So far the launch of the new mobile operating system has been hit with countless delays, holding it back from making it to market, but with Samsung on board, and prepping a high-end device for launch with the OS, that could all be about to change very shortly.

Although Samsung doesn't see Tizen as replacing Android in its plans just yet, it'skeen to get the platform out and in the hands of users, with compatible devices apparently needing to scoop up around 15% of Samsung's smartphone sales in order to be seen as succceful.

The OS has already launched on the company's Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo smart watches, but so far we're yet to see how it'll work in a fully fledged smartphone environment... at least for now.
