FitBit developing app for Windows Phone 8.1
FitBit has announced that it is developing a Windows Phone 8.1 app for its popular fitness smartbands.

The company took to its own forums to confirm the news, as many people had been discussing the possibility of such an app. However, other than stating that an app is in development, the company didn’t give anything away. The post simply read, “Fitbit is developing an application for Windows Phone 8.1. Thank you for all your feedback and support!"

Unfortunately that’s all we know at this point in time. There is no news regarding what features the app may have or any potential release date. At least it’s a step in the right direction for those who were hoping for an increase in the number of fitness tracker options available to them on Windows Phone 8.1.
