Galaxy Note 7 could have S7's always-on display tech

A leaked photo indicates that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 7 could feature an always-on display as the Galaxy S7 did.

The shot, obtained by TechTastic, shows off the Galaxy Note 7 with a partially lit up screen that displays the time, date, battery life, and a selection of other icons. This leak also reveals that the Galaxy Note 7, assuming this photo can be believed, will feature a curved screen along with an iris scanner.

Internally, the Galaxy Note 7 is tipped to feature a Snapdragon 623 processor and 6GB RAM, and it should last some time thanks to a long-lasting battery.

Samsung is expected to announce this device on August 2.
