Galaxy Note 7 tipped to feature overhauled interface

A video has surfaced online that indicates that the Galaxy Note 7 will feature an overhauled version of its custom Android skin, TouchWiz.

Italian tech blog posted the video, in which it goes through the various changes. The notifications pull down has been tweaked and the drop down menu offers greater access to quick settings; you’ll be able to switch Wi-Fi networks quickly and easily, for example.

From the home screen, you’ll be able to swipe up from the app icon to bring up an options menu without actually opening the app.

Meanwhile, there are a range of aesthetic changes, including revamped colours, more customisation options, background blurring when you tap on a folder, and more.

These TouchWiz changes are still in beta, so there may be more adjustments made before the Galaxy Note 7 is released.
