Unfortunately, talent, rhythm and creativity required!
Ahead of the launch of the
WholeWorldBand App in March for iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPad 2, musicians are being invited to
The Music Show to see what the free app will be capable of. The Music Show will run on February 25th and 26th and will enable a limited number of attendees to work with developer of the app, Kevin Godley, to collaborate on pre-recorded tracks from
Gemma Hayes,
Cathy Davey,
Liam Ó Maonlaí among other artists.
The app itself will be available to download for free in March and will allow musicians to collaborate in the making of music with other WholeWorldBand users and major artists. Users can create a track or add themselves to performances by well-known artists and bands. Musicians can take the place of any member of the band during the performance. WholeWorldBand will allow musicians to record and film while playing or singing along to any track using the microphone and cameras on their iPhone or iPad then upload a unique mix of themselves and other users to
Facebook and
YouTube. Musicians also stand to benefit from the release of tracks. They will earn money when other users download or share their original tracks.
