The Apple Watch is one of next year’s most anticipated devices, but if you want to get your hands on the gold model, you may want to start saving now.
The gold Apple Watch will reportedly cost between $4,000 and $5,000, according to French website iGen.fr. The Apple Watch did make an appearance at Paris Fashion Week where patrons seemingly have money to burn, so there’s a good chance that this price tag is accurate.
More reasonable are the steel and black versions of the wearable. They will start at approximately $500. It’s unclear where this information comes from, but the site has been accurate in the past.
When Apple announced the device in September, it said that the most basic version would cost around $350. The Apple Watch will reportedly go on sale in spring 2015 with the latest reports suggesting late March.
