Google Allo update adds Selfie Clips

A new update for the Google Allo chat app brings with it a new feature that allows users to create selfie GIFs using their smartphone’s front camera, as revealed in a tweet from the team head of Google Allo, Amit Fulay.

Named Selfie Clips, the new feature enables users to create GIF loops which can then be sent to other Google Allo users through the app’s chat conversations, and the feature is available for both iOS and Android devices.

The Google Allo v12 update also adds a new compose bar designed to clean up the app’s interface and make it simpler-to-use.
