Google Buys Lift Labs To Aid Parkinson's Sufferers

Google has purchased Lift Labs, which is great news for Parkinson’s sufferers the world over. Lift labs specialise in battery-based devices which counter-act the motor difficulties, such as palsy, which makes even simple things like eating from a spoon difficult for Parkinson’s sufferers.

Google will be backing ‘Liftware’, devices which fit utensils, knives, forks spoons etc, and minimize 70% of hand tremors. Lift Labs is just the latest in a string of companies to join Google X, Google’s relatively philanthropic themed research and development division.
