We're still not entirely sure thatGoogle Glass is the future of the wearable - right now the battery life sucks and the device gets really hot against your face - but there are definitely applications for this new tech.
One app is using Glass to determine whether you're about to have a freakout. The software comes from researchers at Georgia Tech and MIT and is called BioGlass. Using the sophisticated sensors of Glass, it can figure out whether your stress levels are elevated based on a series of markers.
Right now you have to be standing still for it to work and it will currently just log what's going on but an obvious extension of the app would be on screen breathing techniques to calm yourself or even just a message warning people that they were getting close to a meltdown.
BioGlasscould even head to other wearables which aren't quite so awkward to wear - anything with the correct sensors could be put to use. We can't wait to see if something like this crops up in Avengers 3 to stop a hulk out!
