Google highlights Inbox's snooze function

If you’re trying to juggle a number of things at once, it can be easy to put off replying to an e-mail or undertaking a task immediately. And then days or weeks later, you realise that you didn’t do what you were supposed to do.

That’s why Google is highlighting the snooze function in Inbox. This enables Inbox users to snooze away emails and Reminders until a better time or place without worrying that they’re going to forget.

Google gives a rundown of how the snooze function works on its blog. You can easily snooze an e-mail or reminder until a time that suits you. You can even snooze an e-mail to a place, so that you get notified of something when you’re in a particular location. It makes more sense to get a reminder about picking up milk when you’re at the store rather than getting it at the time you hoped you’d be there.

If you manage to get ahead of your schedule, you can see and edit snoozed items and move them back to your inbox if it suits.
