Google Now Wants You To Get The Cheapest Flight Available

Google Now – it’s got our backs. This much we know from the myriad of useful features which have been announced. But what of the features which have yet to be announced? What of the functions which seem to pop up, seemingly at random, leading us to believe there’s a lot more to this digital secretary than meets the eye.

Google Now’s Flight Price Monitor is one such function. It’s not been officially announced. No-one seems to know exactly how to trigger it. But according to Android Police, sometimes when you are looking at flights via Google Flights, Google Now will send you a card alerting you to price drops on the routes you were looking at.

Details of this new feature are expected to drop soon, and hopefully they’ll address whether or not it’s only compatible with Google Flights, or if other itinerary planners will enter the fray.
