Google is gradually ramping itself up in preparation of the consumer launch of Google Glass, but it's not quite ready to open the hardware up to everyone just yet. On April 15th the company will make Glass available to residents of the USA for the super low rock bottom (not) price of $1,500. That's a heck of a lot of money for something that's not ready for full release yet, but we've got no doubt there'll be any emount of people ready and willing to cough over big bucks to be early adopters.
If you fit the criteria, you can head on over to Google's official sign up page here, and enter your information for a handy reminder to log on at 6am PDT to nab your very own Google Glass device. Quantities are said to be limited, though, so it's likely that there'll be a lot of disappointed technophiles come the end of the day, so make sure to set your alarm and ready your bank account for one heck of a hit!
Google hasn't yet announced plans to roll the scheme out in other countries, but as soon as they do, we'll let you know!
