According to the source who sent the pictures to the site, the Nexus 8 will run the next version of Android, will have a 64-bit Qualcomm processor, and will have 3GB RAM. Up to this point, Android tablets have stuck to 32-bit processors, so this could be a significant step up. It also acts as a roadmap for the future, as it would open the door for tablets to feature more than 4GB RAM.
Google’s I/O conference takes place at the end of the month, so we should hear more about the Nexus 8 then.
