Google's Self Driving Car Prototype Speeds Towards Testing Phase
Literally no room for human error

Google is making a self-driving car.
And rather than retro-fitting existing models, they’re building it from the ground up. These cartoonish bubble vehicles will be limited to 25mph, sport foam and flexible windshields but lack steering wheels, mirrors and pedals.

Google plan to start testing these prototypes this summer, but before then they need to address various regulations regarding a test “driver”. Predictably, there isn’t legislature at the moment for unmanned cars on the roads. I wonder why…

Google, ultimately, won’t be looking to sell these self-driving vehicles themselves and are instead looking for a business partner to ship them to market. Check out the videos below and see if you could be tempted by one a few years down the road…
