GoPro have announced they will be selling the Karma Grip, the three axis stabiliser which was bundled with the Karma drone from the sports camera maker.
The Karma drone was of course recalled recently as there were reports of battery issues and some instances of the drones falling out of the sky altogether.
Obviously it has been a very tough year for GoPro with their drones being recalled and complaints about bloating prices, pair this with the excellent year DJI has had in their release of the Osmo which is essentially the Karma Grip just with a different camera, and the release of the most portable 4K drone the Mavic Pro.
So the Karma grip is already coming out to stiff competition from the Osmo, however it is cheaper, but not when you buy a GoPro Hero 5, which you need for the grip to have any use.
This is a step forward for GoPro but they have taken at least two steps back with the Karma drone.
The GoPro Karma Grip will cost $299 so expect the price to be similar in euro.
