Here's what Android Lollipop looks like on HTC One M8

Leaked screenshots have emerged showing what Android Lollipop, and HTC’s own Sense 6.0 UI, look like on the HTC One M8.

Naturally, it still looks very much like HTC Sense, but there are new effects carried over from Android Lollipop. HTC One M8 owners will be treated to a range of new animations, features, and the revamped notifications.

Sense 6.0 includes changes to animations and the overall user interface that goes hand in hand with Android Lollipop. HTC One M8 users will also get access to features such as lock screen notifications, quick settings, searchable settings, and the new multitasking view.

Less experienced users will be pleased to hear about the new “easy mode.” This makes basic features of the device, such as your contacts, the internet browser, and the camera, instantly accessible. These functions are displayed as large, bright tiles and can be tweaked depending on each user’s needs.

HTC has said that it will release Lollipop within 90 days of receiving the code from Google. It’s expected before the start of February, 2015, but no concrete date has been given.
