The HTC One M8 Windows Phone will be identical inside and out to its Android-based counterpart. If you’re a Windows Phone fan who hasn’t used the One M8 before, you can look forward to getting your hands on a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, a 2,600 mAh battery and a 4 UltraPixel dual-camera.
HTC and Microsoft did have to make a few tweaks so that some UI elements are the same, or pretty similar, across both devices. The dual-camera with UFocus will work with Windows Phone 8.1.1, for example. However, one of the major differences is that Blinkfeed is an app on the Windows Phone model rather than an integrated part of the UI.
The Windows Phone version of the HTC One M8 will go on sale in the States on August 20th, only on Verizon. HTC has not yet announced if it will release a variant elsewhere.
