The upcoming HTC Nexus is being tipped to feature the Snapdragon 821, according to reports from Asia.
IndiaToday says that it will boast the Snapdragon 821 rather than the Snapdragon 820 that was used in the HTC 10. A slide about the ZenFone 3 Deluxe indicates that the Snapdragon 821 processor boasts a top speed of 2.3GHz for two of its cores, and may also be more efficient.
It's unclear if this processor will be used for both of the rumoured Nexus devices that HTC is working on. The codenames Marlin and Sailfish have been spotted, so two could be on the way this year.
In addition, it's being rumoured that HTC has signed a three-year deal with Google, though this is yet to be confirmed.
