A leaked spec sheet, as reported by WPCentral, outs that the Windows Phone handset will match the existing HTC One M8 spec for spec. The HTC One M8 touting the Windows Phone OS will have a 5-inch Super LCD3 display with a 441 ppi pixel density and 1080 x 1920 resolution, protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
Under the hood, users will get the same 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB RAM. Meanwhile, the HTC One M8 comes with 32GB of on-board storage, which can be expanded by up to 128GB with a microSD card. The handsets are identical, right down to the 2,600mAh battery and 5 megapixel front-facing camera.
HTC is expected to announce the handset at an event on August 19th. It may go on sale as soon as two days later in certain territories and with selected providers.
