HTC managed to grab a lot of attention back in 2013 with the launch of the HTC One - combining great looks, top specs and extra like powerful front facing speakers.
the HTC One M8 (bad name choice aside) continued to wow all comers, especially with its smooth design that was a world away from most plastic and boring smartphones. And the company will be hoping for the same reaction to their upcoming sequel, codenamed Hima but likely set to be titled the HTC One M9. No we don't know what that means either.
Rumours have been circulating about the devices for awhile now, speculating that it will sport a 5 inch full HD screen, 4 gigs of RAM, and might do away with UltraPixels in favour of a 20.7 MP rear camera. But now there's news that it might not be alone in the new brood.
@evleaks on Twitter may be mostly out of the handset leak game these days but shared an image of what looks like the HTC One M9 sitting next to a bigger brother which also features a physical home key. It seems every manufacturer is keen to offer multiple versions of their flagship handsets these days, and the new variant could arrive with a name like the HTC One M9 Plus. Which is pretty unweildy.
It's all speculation right now, expect more concrete news from Mobile World Congress in March 2015.
