It was recently rumoured that the HTC One M9 Plus would be the same size as the HTC One M9. The rumour mill has since gone back on this, saying that it will have a 5.2-inch screen rather than a 5.0-inch screen.
A specs leak courtesy of Upleaks maintains that the HTC One M9 Plus will feature a high resolution WQHD display. It will also allegedly feature an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with four cores at 2.0GHz and the other four clocked at 1.5GHz, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. It will have a 20.7 megapixel camera on the rear along with a second 2.1 megapixel len, which is likely a depth sensor.
The HTC One M9 Plus, unlike the regular HTC One M9, will come with a touch-based fingerprint scanner. Otherwise, the two devices will be essentially the same thing.
Once again, these are just rumours and they’ve been in disagreement of late. For this reason, we’d advise even more caution than usual before taking these specs as a sure-fire thing.
