Just in case there was any doubt that HTC will unveil the One M9 Plus at its event on April 8th, a selection of promo shots have been leaked. The shots appear to show the One M9 Plus alongside the words, “Beijing, April 8 2015".
HTC has been sending out invites for the event, where we expect it to show off the HTC One M9 Plus, the HTC One E9, and the HTC One E9+. One of the promotional shots leaked by MyDrivers focuses on a home button. This would house a fingerprint scanner, both of which have been rumoured as features of the One M9 Plus for some time.
There’s also a shot of the screen. The HTC One M9 Plus is expected to feature a QHD display. Of course, it’s impossible to tell from these promotional images.
Finally, one image highlights the design of the handset. It looks to feature a dual-tone colour scheme and a metal shell. These are two features that the pictured handset will take from the HTC One M9, indicating that this will be a premium handset.
All three images are somewhat obstructed. Thankfully, we’ll get a good look at the HTC One M9 Plus in the very near future. HTC is hosting its event on April 8th where it will make some eagerly anticipated announcements.
