The HTC One M9 has allegedly been outed thanks to benchmark results showcasing just how powerful the device is.
The leaked Geekbench benchmark results show that the HTC One M9 will come with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 running at 1.55 GHz with 3GB of RAM. At the time of the test, the HTC One M9 was running Android 5.0.2.
According to the leaked results the HTC One M9 scored a single-core score of 1232 and a multi-core score of 3587. By comparison, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6’s leaked results were 1520 and 5478 respectively. Meanwhile, the HTC One M8 was benchmarked at 2899 in Techradar’s multi-core tests. This means that the HTC One M9 will be a significant upgrade on its predecessor, but may not hit the same heights as Samsung’s Galaxy S6.
It’s expected that HTC will unveil the HTC One M9 at its Utopia in Progress event. This is scheduled for March 1st, ahead of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
