HTC is expected to host an event of its own in March to announce the Hima, which apparently will be the device’s name at release.
The company appears to be dropping the M naming convention, though it’s unclear if the device will be called the HTC One Hima, or simply HTC Hima. The device is expected to feature a 5.2-inch display, an octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, and a 20.7 megapixel camera.
None of this is official, but nowhereelse.fr allegedly got its hands on the front panel of the Hima, so that much could be true, at the very least.
The HTC Hima is likely to run HTC's Sense user interface on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Interestingly, HTC may not be planning to announce the device at MWC, which also takes place in March. Instead, it will be hoping to snag all the headlines when it runs a special event later in the month.
