HTC Vive shipping delays finally fixed

The HTC Vive is a real thing you can buy right now, provided you have a really fast computer and the guts of a grand to spend on the new virtual reality hardware.

It's probably the best VR system out there right now (though there's little real competition) but the launch has been far from smooth, particularly when it comes to actually sending out the very expensive units.

HTC has admitted in the past that there have been issues around communucation with customers and delivery of actual items but that's a thing of the past, as from today all units will be shipped within 3 business days.

That's official word from the blog and we're hoping that the company is good to their word - as there's nothing worse than spending so much money to be left waiting around and wondering if there's something from with your order.

Some stores in the US will now be stocking the Vive as well, and demo products are being rolled out. We're hearing that you'll be able to walk into a shop and buy a Vive in Ireland some time in July, 2016.
