Huawei is out at IFA 2016 in Berlin, along with pretty much every other tech company you can think of, and they've brought some new products.
In terms of handsets that includes the brand new Nova and Nova Plus devices.
The Nova has a 5 inch screen and an aircraft-grade aluminium body capped off with a 1080p screen. That's a good size for one handed use and it comes with a pretty large 3020 mAh battery. The camera is a 12 megapixel model which comes with large pixels for better performance and there's one of those rear mounted fingerprint scanners for security. Oh and the selfie cam runs at 8MP.
You'll find 4K video on board (which is rare enough at this screen size and price point) as well as long battery life and the always welcome microSD support.
There's also a Nova Plus model on the way which has a 5.5 inch screen and supports the upgrade with an impressive 4000 mAh battery. The back camera is a 16 MP sensor with built in optical image stabilisation and both phones are switching to that USB-C format.
The Nov and Nova Plus look to be launching in Europe in September 2016, with priced to be confirmed.
