Huawei launched its first 2-in-1 Windows 10 device at Mobile World Congress. The MateBook is a 12-inch tablet that’s designed with productivity in mind.
It comes with one of an Intel M3, M5, or M7 processor and 4GB or 8GB RAM, and comes with a suite of features that you’d expect from a business-focused device. The MatePen is described as “more than a stylus.” It offers 2,048 levels of sensitivity and doubles as a laser pen or slideshow clicker in presentations.
Those pushing their devices to the limit each and every day will be pleased to hear that the MateBook provides enough battery-life to get through a nine-hour day. If you need to top up, you can get a 60% charge in an hour and a full charge in just two-and-a-half hours.
The Huawei MateBook boasts a 12-inch IPS multi-touch screen with a resolution of 2160x1440 pixels, an aluminium unibody, and weighs just 640g.
Huawei says that the MateBook will be released across Asia, Europe, and North America in the coming months, starting at €799.
