The new operating system features a redesigned control centre and new menus in the Settings menu. Among these are separate menus for Wallpaper and Display & Brightness.
A Tips app, which offers suggestions and tutorials, is also included. A quick guide to Siri is one example of what users will be able to access from the app. Tips helps users get the most out of iOS 8. The app is likely to be updated frequently with new tips and guides from Apple.
The new beta includes minor changes such as a tweaked Emoji keyboard; the use of Bing Search in Spotlight; Health App tweaks; new EU options for roaming; and options for assigning left/right swipes in Mail.
The full release of iOS 8 is expected to be released later this year alongside the new iPhone. It has been suggested that this will arrive in September or October.
